THE SHOW
Coming Out As A Magician is my one-man comedy magic show, blending storytelling, stand-up and live illusion into one ridiculous confession: what happens when a grown man finally “comes out” to the people in his life… not about his sexuality, but about being a magician?
The show plays like a magic performance disguised as a satirical confession. Through sharp, character-driven stories and vivid recreations of the people in my life — and their reactions, some supportive, confused, amused, and occasionally brutal — I explore the awkward hilarity of admitting an unconventional dream out loud.

Unlike traditional magic shows, this show has a narrative which does not just serve a theme or excuse to do magic tricks, but takes the audience on a journey through my life

Although the show has a lot of elements from theatrical productions, it constantly breaks the 4th wall to bring the audience into the show and be a part of the story

The show is filled with hard-hitting magic, silly interactions and funny moments. Making it ideal for the perfect night out.

Director
Malcolm is a multi-talented artist. He is a comedian, actor, writer and director. In 2024, he won the Outstanding Theatre Award at the Brighton Fringe.

Magic Consultant
Vanni is my magic mentor. He has over 50 years of magic experience and even served as President of The International Brotherhood of Magicians. The largest magic society in the world.
